Tesco Mobile
Smile, you’re on Tesco Mobile
To promote their European roaming offer over the summer Tesco Mobile produced a fully integrated campaign, spearheaded by a TV ad but backed up by a lot of social content. We shot a series of Virtual Reality ‘postcards’ (one featuring TOWIE's Mark Wright white water rafting in Croatia) plus a whole bunch of other gifs and images to get their Instagram followers excited. All to prove just how much you can share when you're not being crippled by mobile roaming fees.
LLOYDS COGNITIVE COMPUTING
Everything you ever wanted to know about AI but were too afraid to ask
Lloyds are making some great AI products, chatbots etc but needed a presentation and some assets they could use to help tell the story of what AI is and what it can do for you, as well as showcasing some of the work they’d produced. We decided to let a chatbot be the spokesperson for them and created a personality for it, filmed lots of interviews and demos to showcase their work and give a sense of the personalities behind the code. Below are a few edited highlights from the presentation material we created.
SCANIA
A Truck is born
Sapient were asked to launch Scania’s first new truck in 20 years. If you’re into trucks, this is a big thing and there are a lot of people seriously into trucks, especially Scania trucks. We played off the fact that Scania refers to its fans as ‘family’ to create content for both social and owned channels, teasing the launch, revealing the truck and following up post launch. The following film shows a selection of the work myself and my team at Sapient produced and the results it produced.
THE CRYSTAL
A Sustainable Cities Initiative by Siemens
Whilst running PBJS London, I helped launch the Crystal, a global knowledge hub for urban sustainability, a kind of Eden Project for cities. We branded it, created graphics and films for the exhibition spaces, launched it with a grand gala including projection mapping, advertised it to the public and marketed the hell out of it. We even created a student film project to generate original content and persuaded Academy Award winning director Davis Guggenheim (An Inconvenient Truth) to act as mentor and judge.

FINISTERRE
The Surfing Shepherds
Finisterre are a bunch of cool dudes from St Agnes who specialise in clothing for cold water surfers. They're so obsessed with quality and sustainability, they bought their own flock of sheep so they wouldn't have to import Merino wool.
With virtually no budget we shot this online film to help get them noticed and create an identity in stark contrast to the slick California beach imagery of companies like Hollister and Quicksilver. Check them out at finisterreuk.com
